Carole started in the Insurance and Investment business in 1983, earning her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant Degrees in 1989/90. Her focus has been on the professional, small business, family, and women markets. Carole joined WBN in May of 1990, served as chapter rep several times over, joined the Board in 1993, served as President of the Board for the 94-95 term, helped to write the original by-laws of WBN, co-founded the first Washington chapter, the Waynesburg chapter, the McMurray chapter and helped with the formation of the new Greensburg chapter. She served as co-chair of a WBN spring dinner and co-chair of the 2009 retreat.
Other endeavors include: six (6) years on the Board of Lutheran Campus Ministry in Oakland, served on the founding Board of POWERLINK, President of the Washington County Zonta International Club, area director for Zonta International for two years, served as a delegate for Zonta International Convention on two occasions (Hong Kong and Detroit), often serves on her class reunion committee, started a funnel cake business to benefit her church, and served as a founding member and chair of the endowment committee for her church. Recently, she worked on the Jeannette Community Days committee and ran the Bingo games. She is now serving on the 125th Anniversary of Jeannette committee.
Her favorite hobbies include gardening, sewing, and dancing. Carole is currently working part-time to care for her mother, age 94, and the four-legged critters running under her feet.
